The Mets have been on the downhill ever since the trade deadline and the fans have been letting them know it. Javy Baez, Francisco Lindor, and Kevin Pillar decided to show the fans that they heard the boos loud and clear but it instead caused an outrage. We brought in former Met pitcher, now the leading source on all things Mets twitter, John Mincone to tell us more about it. Plus, the Angels announced Trout might be out for the season.

#125 The Padres and Mets Continue to Slide, The LLWS Has Found a Legend, and Ohtani Gives Orioles a Win

At the beginning of the season the Padres and Mets were up there as very real playoff contenders. Now, with just about a month left in the season, it is a very real possibility that both teams won't be around at all. The LLWS is back as well and there is something very special happening on the South Dakota team as Gavin Weir absolutely DOMINATES. Plus the Ohtani watch got interesting when he had his worst start of the second half finally breaking the O's 19 game losing streak.

#123 Field of Dreams Game, Tatis Going to Play CF, Wainwright Tosses a Maddux, Burnes Ties a Record, and Cabrera Has His Sights on 500

The Field of Dreams Game was the talk of baseball this week. The history and nostalgia of the movie took over baseball and the game was as we all hoped, incredible. The pitching this week was also nothing short of amazing as Adam Wainwright threw a "Maddux", which is a complete game with less than 100 pitches. Corbin Burnes also had a day striking out 15 including 10 straight Ks tying the record set by Tom Seaver and tied earlier this year by Aaron Nola. Miguel Cabrera is eyeing the 500 HR mark as he hit his 499th this week. Plus, the Padres look to move Tatis Jr. to the outfield in an effort to save his shoulder.
